The Light

There are many different options when it comes to your plants light source.

A few to name:

• CFL bulbs

• HID lamps - Metal Halide (MH) & High Pressure Sodium (HPS)

• LED boards

• Quantum boards

If you have a low budget for your grow CFL's will do the trick, but the end product most likely will be light and airy buds with little to no weight.

HID lamps are some of the best for growing indoors, but you may see an impact on your electric bill each month.

Hid lams:

LED boards are starting to shine in recent years, growing dense buds and draw very minimal watts in comparison to HID. You do have to be weary when purchasing LED boards, there are some great brands out there and lots of knock offs too!

Quantum boards:

The new kid on the block. Everyone is starting to realize the power that these little boards contain! Quantum boards are kind of in the middle of Led and HID. Very bright, they draw very little power, create little to no heat and are as thin as a couple sheets of paper!

I've tried each type of light and I have to say that quantum boards are my go to light source!
